The evaluation team selected Hyperledger Fabric because it offers more flexible data models and business logic, ensuring that all requirements would be met by version 1.0 of the platform. Additionally, the project aims to ensure authenticity, safety, and flexibility when sharing data within a trusted network.
This creates secure academic versions of LinkedIn for students’ learning records; allowing individuals or enterprises to use data anonymously; storing digital academic records with details on credits, accomplishments, and experiences through "digital badging"; and personalizing education through blockchain technology.
